Our mission: Through our efforts and dedication, Solly’s Way Foundation, Inc. provides college scholarship opportunities to children in the Barrington, Lake Zurch and Wauconda High School communities who have suffered a loss of a parent or guardian.

Recognizing the character and perseverance that so many young people show in the face of such adversity, the Solly’s Way Foundation funds this Scholarship Program for college-bound Barrington, Lake Zurich & Wauconda High School seniors. Qualified entrants who submit essays or videos about how the death of a parent or guardian impacted their lives are eligible for a minimum, of $1,000 in scholarship funds

Must be a graduating senior with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
Must be a Barrington, Lake Zurch or Wauconda High School student
Must be a U.S. citizen and resident of Illinois
Must have a history of extracurricular activities that demonstrates a willingness to serve the community
Must submit two letters of recommendation
Must submit an official high school transcript
Must complete and sign application
Must have suffered the loss of a parent or guardian
